High-speed Ethernet communication card - The EZ-Ethernet option card enables your EZTouch panel to connect to your AutomationDirect PLC Ethernet network. Connect up to 8 EZTouch panels to a single PLC with the ECOM module. (The option card cannot be installed in an EZTouch panel with -K or -R in the part number).
EZ-ETHERPLUS - The EZ-ETHERPLUS option card enables your EZTouch panel to connect to PLCs (and other devices including PCs and WinPLCs) using the MODBUS TCP/IP protocol in addition to the connection to your AutomationDirect PLC Ethernet network (as described above for the EZ-Ethernet option card). For convenience, the following panel models have the EZ-ETHERPLUS option card pre-installed: EZ-S6C-FST, EZ-S8C-FST, EZ-T10C-FST, and EZ-T15C-FST.
Networking
The EZTouch panels can communicate via various types of networking protocols using the appbrcable network card. The networks currently supported are as follows:

The Ethernet network card is purchased separately, while the DH+ (Data Highway Plus) model and other networking option models are ordered as a complete unit with a pre-installed interface card.
